Every call center software pricing page leads with a number that almost nobody pays. The seat price is real, but it assumes annual billing, it assumes you buy at least two or three seats, and it leaves out the add-ons that the product needs before it does the job you bought it for: analytics that go back more than a few months, messaging beyond plain SMS, AI notes, coaching. We sell contact center software ourselves, so we went through the published 2026 pricing of the four vendors small teams compare us against most often and counted everything. What follows is the arithmetic, not a sales pitch — where a competitor is cheaper, it says so.
The three things that move the real price
- Seat minimums. Aircall requires three licenses, JustCall two, Dialpad three on its Pro plan. A '$30 seat' is a $90 entry price if you are a one-person front desk.
- Monthly-billing penalties. The headline is the annual rate. Pay month to month and Aircall charges 33–40% more, JustCall 34–41%, Dialpad 40–80%, RingCentral 29–50%.
- Add-ons. The features a support desk actually runs on — unlimited analytics history, WhatsApp, AI summaries, real-time coaching, QA — are frequently $9 to $49 per user each, on top of the plan.
Aircall
Essentials $30 and Professional $50 per license per month on annual billing; $40 and $70 billed monthly; three-license minimum. Essentials keeps recordings one year and has no smart routing, queue callback, monitoring, or power dialer — those are Professional. AI Assist (summaries, sentiment, CRM logging) is $9 per license on Essentials and included on Professional; AI Assist Pro (live coaching) is $49; Analytics+ (unlimited history) $15; WhatsApp $10; extra numbers $6. A five-person team on Professional with full analytics and WhatsApp lands at $475 a month on monthly billing. Aircall's real strength is elsewhere: 300+ one-click integrations and native mobile apps.
RingCentral
RingCentral is two products. RingEX, the phone system, is $20 Core, $25 Advanced, $35 Ultra per user on annual billing ($30, $35, $45 monthly) and is a genuinely good phone-plus-video-plus-messaging bundle. The contact-center features — skills routing, callbacks, dialers, agent analytics, workforce management — are RingCX, a separate product sold by quote; independent guides put it at $65 to $125 per agent per month, with analytics and workforce tools as add-ons. If your five-person support desk needs queues and monitoring, you are shopping RingCX, not RingEX, and the price is whatever your rep says it is.
Dialpad
Dialpad Connect is the cheapest phone line on this list: Standard $15 and Pro $25 per user on annual billing ($27 and $35 monthly), with AI transcription and call summaries included on every plan, which is a real advantage. Pro carries a three-seat minimum; Enterprise starts at 100 users. The support-desk features live in Dialpad Support at $80, $115, and $150 per user per month — three to six times the Connect price — and the sales dialer is a third product. Numbers, international minutes, and toll-free bill on top.
JustCall
Essentials $19, Team $29, Pro $49, Business $89 per user on annual billing; Team $39, Pro $69, Business $109 monthly; two-license minimum. Advanced routing, monitoring, and the auto dialer are Pro and up. AI Review Assist is $9 per user on Team and Pro and included on Business; AI voice agents start at $99 a month for 100 minutes; bulk SMS, extra numbers, and international calling are extra. JustCall is built for outbound sales teams, and for that job it is a strong, fairly priced tool.
CSC
Our plans are $79 Essentials, $99 Professional, and $129 AI Quality per user per month, monthly or annual (annual gets two months free), with no seat minimum and no monthly-billing penalty. Professional includes what the vendors above sell as add-ons or separate products: named queues with skills and callbacks, supervisor listen, whisper and barge, a website chat widget, a shared email inbox, two-way texting, a caller screen-pop with a contacts book, a wallboard, unlimited analytics history, a scheduler with time off and adherence, QA scorecards, and a HubSpot integration. AI Quality adds a transcript, a summary, suggested QA scores, and compliance flags on every call. And if CSC staffs your phones with a dedicated bilingual team, the software is included at no per-seat cost — that is the actual business we are in.
Per seat, on annual billing, three of these four vendors are cheaper than we are. Count the minimum, the monthly penalty, and the add-ons a real support desk needs, and the gap closes to a few dollars — or flips.
What a three-person support desk actually pays
Monthly billing, the plan a support desk needs (queues, callbacks, monitoring), plus AI notes where they are an add-on. Numbers are the vendors' published 2026 prices; RingCX is the low end of independent estimates because RingCentral does not publish it.
- Aircall Professional + AI Assist (included): $210 a month. Add Analytics+ and WhatsApp: $285.
- RingCentral RingCX: roughly $195 to $375 a month by quote, plus RingEX if you also want the phone system.
- Dialpad Support Essentials: $240 a month, AI included; Advanced with QA scorecards: $345.
- JustCall Pro + AI Review Assist: $234 a month; Business with AI included: $327.
- CSC Professional: $297 a month with chat, email, texts, scheduler, wallboard, scorecards, and HubSpot logging included; AI Quality: $387 with AI review of every call.
For one seat the math is simpler: the three vendors with minimums cannot sell one, RingEX Core is $30 as a plain phone line, Dialpad Standard is $27, and CSC Essentials is $79 as a call-flow, recording, and reporting desk. If you only need a phone line, buy the phone line.
Six questions that expose a pricing page
- What is the minimum number of licenses, and what is the real entry price for my team size?
- What does the monthly rate cost against the annual rate, and is there a contract?
- Which of these are add-ons: analytics history, WhatsApp, AI summaries, live coaching, QA scorecards, workforce scheduling?
- Is the contact-center desk the same product as the phone system, or a second product with a second bill?
- What are the caps on SMS, minutes, numbers, and recording retention?
- Is there a free trial, and does it require a card?
We keep a comparison page per vendor on the platform page, with the same tables and a plain statement of where each one wins, and we update them when the vendors change their prices. If you are pricing a small support desk, start there — and if you would rather not staff the desk at all, ask us what a dedicated bilingual team costs with the software included.
